We tried to arrange fiber optics as we discussed earlier to our detector. In order to move manually on each and every precious illuminated point of the sensor or solar cell to simulate or test the intensity distribution.
we assumed the required path to be tested as a matrix and arranged the following setup which may fulfill our aim.
our future idea is to use automated PLCs (programmable logic controllers) to make the system more accurate and near to ideal in place of the following prototype.

One of the end, where fibre is placed inside the pencil knob and enclosed in encapsulation and the other end where we can move manually. the logic behind this is, if we move the outer part with hand on exact replica of the illuminated area which is inside the case, fiber could detect the same.
the other end of the fiber has contact with the photo diode, so that the experiment could be done in enclosed package with out any external radiation interface. we can also avoid the exposure of intense or high energy radiation from light sources that are used for solar test simulation or for other purpose.

these pictures shows the both ends, one end for moving manually and the other which goes according to our movement on required illumination.

the main advantage is we save the expensive cost of using fibre optic adaptor to photo transistor interface by using pencil knob. hope this setup works as we are going for measurements sooon.
